There is a new radio talk show out there for the Independent that does not like to be told what to think.  It is on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 110.  I have been listening to Indie Talk now for a few days and it is pretty good.  There is a bit of repeat shows but that is understandable for a new channel.  They are getting some interviews with some big names that the left and the right will not interview due to they have their own opinion.  Let’s face it the righties are just nuts and the lefties are bordering on crazy.  I just wish more Americans would think for themselves.

Why hasn’t the big truck manufacture invented a Hybrid Big Rig?  I know the technology is out there I was in the Navy and Air Craft Carriers power train is completely electric, a course they are nuclear powered but I am sure they could have a fuel efficient generator to power a Big Rig.  Just think if Big Rigs were fuel efficient how much the price of gas would drop plus how much less carbon monoxide we would produce.  This would decrease the cost of shipping, create new jobs, be better for our planet, and would probably bring some of the manufacturing back to the US.

The oil companies what to drill off our coast but the platforms are an eyesore and have a possibility of polluting our waters.  The power companies want to build wave generators off our coast but they are also an eyesore and have zero percent of pollution.  So both sides are at a standstill due to public opinion.  I prefer looking at the wave generators that uses a free and a clean power source but then again I drive a Prius.  I do not understand how people can complain about the price of energy while they drive there SUV and sign potation against wave generators stating that it takes away the beauty of our coast.  I guess they like the pristine coastal waters glitter against the beautiful brown horizon.
